SURFACE WATER QUALITY SAMPLING, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION
Are you starting a new water quality monitoring program on a nearby lake or tributary? Do you manage an ongoing water quality program?

- GLEC has boats and motors, a Kemmerer water sampler, chlorophyll sampler, plankton nets, ponar dredges, a Hydrolab for reading temperature, dissovled oxygen, pH and conductivity in the field, sample bottles and preservatives for collection, and GPS units for site location. - GLEC has equipment and capability to run automated analysis of samples for a variety of basic nutrient and water quality parameters including phosphorus, nitrate-nitrogen, nitrite-nitrogen, total kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN) chlorophyll a, and chloride. For more in depth water quality determinations, GLEC can screen your samples for organic contaminants.
