Adam has performed a wide range of duties in both field and laboratory settings since joining GLEC in 2004. He has conducted sampling surveys for the MDEQ and EPA NARS program as a field crew member and crew leader. With his ability to design and fabricate custom equipment and tools, he has become an important part of GLEC’s sediment coring operations as well as other environmental assessment projects. Since 2014, Adam has contributed to GLEC activities supporting EPA’s UCMR program. Adam holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Conservation from Northern Michigan University..
GLEC operates one of only a few U.S. laboratories accredited for whole sediment toxicity testing. GLEC also maintains NELAP accreditation for chlorophyll and nutrient chemistry testing.
