Michelle has extensive laboratory, field and project management experience. Analytical chemistry is Michelle’s principal area of expertise, derived from 25 years of experience performing analysis and managing laboratory operations and accreditation programs. She has been a GLEC employee-owner since 1998. Michelle has also been a key member of the project teams on four multi-year contracts with EPA to provide technical support for the implementation of the UCMR program, designed to collect drinking water samples at public water systems throughout the U.S. and territories. She has led  field crews for EPA’s National Aquatic Resource Surveys and has been part of the team that trains other field crews on the implementation of EPA protocols. Michelle holds a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Freshwater Biology and Limnology, from Central Michigan University.
