Logistics

The project managers and researchers at GLEC are highly experienced in designing and managing the logistics required to operate efficient field sampling and laboratory analysis programs.  The loading docks, temperature controlled storage facilities, and automated shipping systems at GLEC’s Traverse City, Michigan laboratory facility are ideally suited to support assembling and distributing equipment for field crews and for receiving and trans-shipping laboratory samples with sensitive holding times.  Our logistics support for national surface water and drinking water programs includes maintaining facility and sample tracking databases; assisting laboratories and public drinking water systems with logistics and reporting requirements; purchase and assembly of sampling kits for field crews; monitoring field crew progress; and problem solving to assure that expensive field and laboratory programs are completed within design time frames.
