Amelia Howard Controller
Amelia is a native of Traverse City and has been with GLEC since September 2011, starting as an Accounting Clerk before being promoted to Controller in March 2018. She is the Contract Administrator for GLEC’s federal and state multi-year contracts, responsible for maintaining prime contracting financial interactions as well as subcontracting arrangements with contract teams. In addition to contract management, Amelia is responsible for business proposal costing, financial reporting, payroll administration and general accounting operations. Amelia holds a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Michigan State University.
