Field Services

Unique for a smaller firm, GLEC owns and operates both laboratory and field resources to support water quality research and compliance projects.  This integrated capability often provides clients with a single contracting resource, assuring maximum responsiveness and consistent quality throughout project execution.  GLEC has over 25 years of experience conducting field investigations of water quality and ecological health for regulatory agencies and the regulated community.  The U.S. EPA has utilized GLEC as a key contracting resource to conduct the ongoing National Aquatic Resource Surveys since the program began in 2007.  Other federal and state agencies, along with regulated entities in the power generation and industrial sectors employ GLEC to conduct ecological risk assessments, biological surveys, and water quality investigations using our broad range of survey equipment.  Our many years of field work experience allow us to leverage our expertise into managing field survey program logistics and provide training to other project participants.
