Carter joined GLEC in 2013 as a field and laboratory technician.  His primary responsibilities have included support for the NARS National Rivers and Streams Assessment Training and Logistics program along with general technical support in the Traverse City toxicology laboratory.  Carter has a B.S. in Freshwater Science and Sustainability from Western Michigan University.
