Chris oversees GLEC’s toxicology laboratory in Columbus, Ohio. He has been a GLEC employee-owner since 1998 and has extensive experience in laboratory toxicity testing on research projects for industrial, municipal, and government clients. He has an especially strong background in toxicity identification and reduction evaluations (TI/RE), large scale Water-Effect-Ratio studies, biomonitoring, and specimen (fish and invertebrates), identification and culturing processes for National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) related projects. His responsibilities have included training other laboratory technicians on new procedures and protocols as well as project management from proposal preparation through final report and billing. His principal area of expertise is in laboratory methodology and procedural analysis of effluent- and water-quality related samples. He has also conducted stream habitat assessment during field investigations. Chris has a B.S. in Natural Resources from the Ohio State University.
