EmailDennis is a senior research scientist and co-manager of operations for GLEC’s Columbus, Ohio laboratory. He has over 30 years’ experience conducting water-quality related research with a focus on aquatic toxicology. Projects led by Dennis have included site-specific studies for the determination of water quality criteria; toxicity identification/reduction evaluations; development of national baseline bioaccumulation factors biological criteria in lakes; enzymatic degradation of insecticides and toxicokinetics of xenobiotic compounds in aquatic organisms; development of EPA's protocol for the assessment of bioconcentratable contaminants in effluents and fish tissue; and the fate and effects of selenium in aquatic systems. He is program manager for GLEC’s long-running engineering services contract at the U.S. Army’s Pine Bluff arsenal. Dennis holds a Ph. D. in Entomology from The Ohio State University.
