Francis joined GLEC in September 2023 as a Field Technician supporting GLEC contract work for the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy Water Resource Division. He has a   B.S. in Fisheries & Wildlife from Michigan State University and has worked in the field for the MSU Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, the Minnesota DNR, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.  Prior to coming to GLEC, Francis worked as fisheries technician at a salmon hatchery in Prince William Sound, Alaska.
