Robin is GLEC’s Vice President and one of the original founding employees. Robin’s career as an environmental chemist has focused on the assessment of water quality and the development of solutions to water quality problems. She is program manager for GLEC’s long-standing contract supporting U.S. EPA’s Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Regulation and manages GLEC’s environmental/analytical chemistry activities. She applies a multi-disciplinary approach to research that incorporates her knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology. Robin has a strong background in the evaluation, field and laboratory validation, refinement, and application of new methodologies. Robin holds a B.S. in biology and chemistry from Marietta College and an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Pittsburgh (incomplete).

NELAP ACCREDITED

GLEC operates one of only a few U.S. laboratories accredited for whole sediment toxicity testing. GLEC also maintains NELAP accreditation for chlorophyll and nutrient chemistry testing.
