Tom joined GLEC in early 2023 after a 32 -year career as a Wildlife Biologist for the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.  He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to a broad range of water quality and biological surveys for GLEC government and industrial clients.   Tom has developed natural resource management plans, environmental impact studies, and Phase I environmental assessments within complex inter-agency and commercial settings using U.S. EPA, U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Tribal guidelines.  He is also experienced in wetland delineation and wildlife capture and telemetry studies.
